AT&T Inc. is a global provider of telecommunications, media and technology services. The company's communications segment provides nationwide wireless service and equipment in the US, where the company is based; video, including OTT services and multiplatform advertising services; internet, including broadband fiber and legacy telephony voice communications for residential consumers; and advanced IP-based services, as well as traditional voice and data services for companies. Through Vrio, AT&T provides video services to primarily residential customers through satellite technology in Latin America and the Caribbean under the Directv and Sky brands. The company has close to 11 million subscribers in the region. AT&T's media segment produces and distributes high-quality video content, including feature films (Warner Bros.), television (Turner), gaming and other physical and digital content, including the HBO Max streaming platform. AT&T is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and it was incorporated in 1984 under the name Southwestern Bell Corp (later SBC Communications Inc.).
