Description:
Autopista Litoral Sul S.A. is a Brazilian company founded in 2007 that was awarded the concession for the operation of Road BR-116/BR-376/PR and BR-101/SC. The concession contract comprises the stretch between Curitiba and Florianópolis and involves the upgrade, maintenance, monitoring, widening, and operation for a 25-year period. The company is responsible for overhauling a 358km highway section along the coast of Santa Catarina state. Additionally, it built a 30km additional lane, 79.7km of side roads, 94.7km of relief roads, 39 overpasses and five toll collection zones. The highway operator is headquartered in Joinville, in Santa Catarina state, and is owned by Brazilian firm Arteris S.A.
