La Cámara de Empresas de Software y Servicios informáticos (Cessi) is the Argentinean chamber associating and representing over 800 national and foreign firms engaged in the development, production, marketing and/or implementation of software and related IT services. Cessi was created in 1990 by the merger of the software enterprise chamber CES and the computer service entrepreneurial chamber CAESCO. Cessi has participated in the development of initiatives such as Bridge IT, a program focused on IT entrepreneurs; ArgenTina IT Network, aimed at promoting the local software industry in foreign markets; and OPSSI, a permanent observatory for the software and related services. Cessi is part of the World Information Technology & Services Alliance, WITSA; and the Association of IT Entities for Latin America, the Caribbean and Spain, ALETI.
