Fixed and mobile telephony provider Claro S.A. (Claro Brasil) is the Brazilian unit of the Claro brand owned by Latin American telecom giant América Móvil S.A.B. de C.V. The company launched services in 2003 and offers mobile, voice, data and TV services. Claro Brasil currently has 60.3 million subscribers in the mobile segment and 36 million connections in the fixed segment, which includes fixed telephony, broadband Internet, and Pay TV. Its services cover more than 4,000 Brazilian municipalities, providing 2G, 3G, 4G, and 4.5G technologies. Additionally, it has established roaming agreements with over 150 countries. Claro Brasil is headquartered in São Paulo city.
