Description:

Comunicación y Telefonía Rural S.A. (CTR), a Chilean telecom company founded in 1996 in Temuco, serves clients in rural areas and operates a network of payphones throughout Chile. CTR supply commercial customers with telecommunication, data center and IT, cloud, and integration services; and offers telephony and internet services to residential consumers. In association with Huawei Marine, CTR has been awarded contracts for two stretches of the fiber optic project Fibra Austral which connects the southern regions of Chile from Puerto Montt to Puerto Williams (submarine) and from Puerto Natales to Porvenir (terrestrial), consisting of 60 and 40 optical channels respectively.
