Concesionaria Vial Honduras S.A. de C.V. (Covi Honduras), headquartered in Tegucigalpa, is a joint venture of the Ecuadorian firm Hidalgo & Hidalgo and the Peruvian company Construcción y Administración. In 2012, Covi Honduras was allocated a 20-year concession to rehabilitate and maintain the 162-km road crossing Honduras from North to South of the Logistics Corridor Project; as well as the construction of an 88-km four-lane extension from Cuesta de La Virgen to La Barca, including road signals, drainage systems, and waterfront protection.
