Description:

São Paulo-based CCR ViaOeste operates the Castello-Raposo highway system integrated by the Castello Branco, Senador José Emírio de Moraes, Raposo Tavares and Dr. Celso Chauri highways. With a daily average of 600,000 trips, these motorways stretches approximately 169km, benefitting more than 2.5mn people a day in 16 municipalities. CCR ViaOeste started its operations in 1998 and Brazilian infrastructure concession group Grupo CCR acquired the firm in 2005. A year later, the 20 year-concession contract was extended until 2022. CCR ViaOeste, controlled by Grupo CCR holding company CCR, has invested around US$614mn in major civil and construction works, including repaving, widening, signposting and construction and extension of lines.
