Description:
Consorcio CCC is a consortium led by Brazilian infrastructure firm Construções e Comércio Camargo Corrêa, which holds a 55% stake of the company, along with the Colombian Constructora Conconcreto S.A. and Coninsa Ramón H S.A., which hold stakes of 35% and 10%, respectively. Construções e Comércio Camargo Corrêa belongs to Brazilian holding company Camargo Corrêa. In 2012, the consortium won a concession contract to build the 2.4GW Ituango hydroelectric plant,which belongs to Medellín-based EPM. Consorcio CCC has previously taken part in the construction of the Porce III hydroelectric plant (with an installed capacity of 660MW and an annual generation estimated at 3.6GW). The project, located in the Colombian department of Antioquia, envisages the construction of a 220m high dam and a 79km reservoir, and is expected to come online in 2018.
