Description:
Construções e Comércio Camargo Corrêa (CCCC), a subsidiary of the Camargo Corrêa group, provides a variety of services, such as construction, ground works, engineering works; hydro, thermo and wind power plant installation, gas and oil pipeline assembly and maintenance, ship transport and assistance, port managing, marine operations, import, export and other related activities. The Camargo Corrêa construction division is the business unit that originated the Camargo Corrêa group, a diversified holding company that operates in sectors such as cement, electric power, transport and engineering. CCCC has more than 75 year-experience in the engineering market and has developed more than 500 construction projects in areas like energy, sanitation, mining, oil and gas, port, airport, railway, transportation and industrial construction. The construction company has presence in seven countries in Latin America and Africa. CCCC has built 35 hydroelectric power plants, seven thermal power plants, one nuclear power plant, and over 65GW of installed capacity. It has taken part in the construction of four of the biggest power plants in the world: Itaipu, Belo Monte, Tucuruí and Guri (in Venezuela). The São Paulo-based firm has also built 10 airports, three major ports, 1,300km of railways, 2,500km of roads and highways, 112km of subway tracks, 180 bridges and 1 shipyard.
