Description:

Corporación Quiport S.A. (Quiport) is a private company formed by Brazilian CCR, Colombian Odinsa S.A. and US-based Has Development Corporation. Quiport is the consessionaire of the Quito airport in Ecuador. The 35-year concession considers the operation of the former Aeropuerto Internacional Mariscal Sucre; and the design, development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de Quito. The construction was executed by Aecon Construction Group and Constructora Andrade Gutiérrez S.A. The original service concession for the Mariscal Sucre Airport started in 2006 and was valid until 2041, but services were provided only until October 2012. From then on and until 2041, the concession changed its operations to the Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de Quito.
