Description:
Mendoza's provincial highway administrator DPV-Mendoza is dependent on the province's Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Transport. Its functions are to plan, improve and maintain Mendoza's roads and highways including infrastructure and tollroad concessions, project design, and the regulation, licensing and control of heavy or wide vehicles. It also works with the national roads directorate DNV to improve national highways that cross the province, including the international highway to the Cristo Redentor border crossing that connects Argentina with Chile. DPV-Mendoza was established in 1933 and is located in the city of Mendoza.
