EDF EN México is a local unit of French renewable energy group EDF Énergies Nouvelles S.A., and is mainly focused on the construction of wind farms in Mexico. The 67.5MW wind farm La Ventosa started operations in 2010. The 164MW Bii Stinu wind farm featuring 82 Gamesa G80-2.0MW wind turbines was commissioned in 2013 and in 2014 the company started up its third project, the 160MW Santo Domingo wind farm. The three projects are located in Oaxaca state. EDF EN México is headquartered in México City. Énergies Nouvelles S.A. is a subsidiary of French energy multinational EDF (Electricité de France).
