Embratel Star One, named Star One until 2014, is a wholly-owned Brazilian subsidiary of the telecom firm Claro in operations since 2010 and headquartered in Rio de Janeiro. Embratel Star One is a satellite company serving television, radio, internet, and telephony industries in Latin America form its operation center in Guarativa; which operates, controls and manages six GEO satellites and three satellites in inclined orbit.
