Description:
Bolivian company Empresa Eléctrica Corani, a subsidiary of state power firm Ende, is engaged in electricity generation and trading. It operates the 54MW Corani and the 94MW Santa Isabel hydroelectric plants, located in Cochabamba department. The company is also developing hydro and wind projects, which include the Banda Azul, Icona, Ambrosía, Eteramasama, and Rositas hydro plants, and Warnes, San Julián, El Dorado, La Ventolera and Qollpana III wind farms, the latter is the third phase of the Qollpana project, with two phases in operation and supplying 27MW. Corani was founded in 1995, and privatized in 2010.
