Espina Obras Hidráulicas S.A. is the local subsidiary of Spanish contractor Espina Obras Hidráulicas. Present in Uruguay since 1995, it provides infrastructure construction services for both private and public customers, including civil engineering, hydraulic infrastructure, technical planning, monitoring facilities and electrical engineering projects, metalworking plants, and potabilization plants. In 2006, the company opened a wastewater treatment plant management unit. Espina Obras Hidráulicas is based in Montevideo.
