ExxonMobil Exploração Brasil Ltda. is a Brazilian exploration and production subsidiary of international oil and gas corporation ExxonMobil opened in 2000 in Rio de Janeiro. In the Campos basin, the company owns 50% equity interest in the C-M-210, C-M-277, C-M-344, C-M-346, C-M-411, and C-M-413 blocks operated by Petrobras; and the operation and 100% interest in the C-M-37 and C-M-67 blocks. Additionally, ExxonMobil Exploração Brasil operates the blocks CE-M-603 and POT-M-475, located in the Ceará and Potiguar basins, respectively; it holds 50% interest in and operates the SEAL-M-501 and SEAL-M-503 blocks in the Sergipe basin; and owns a 40% interest in the Carcará North block of the Santos basin operated by Statoil. At the 15th Bidding Round of Brazil, ExxonMobil Exploração Brasil acquired interests in eight more blocks in the Campos, Santos, and Sergipe basins.
