FLSmidth S.A. de C.V. (FLSmidth México), the Mexican subsidiary of Danish equipment supplier FLSmidth & Co. A/S, supplies the minerals and cement industries with engineering, single machines and complete processing plants for the maintenance, support services and operation of processing facilities. Its products include slurry pumps, valves, manifolded and vessel hydrocyclone systems, spiral concentrators, whirlsizer size classifiers, and parts. The company has also installed equipment in more than 45 mines throughout the region, including industrial installations such as mills, crushers, flotation cells, thickeners, filters, separators, and pumps. Pyrometallurgical systems have also been supplied to clients for the extraction of products like sodium sulfate, magnesium oxide, and manganese, as well as for lime re-burning in pulp and paper processes. The Mexico office, located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, covers and supports a wide region that includes Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. FLSmidth has manufactured equipment in Mexico since 1963 and currently manages 15 manufacturing facilities. The company also makes and prepares equipment for export to customers in other parts of the world.
