Description:
Fondo de Conservación Vial (Fovial) is an autonomous institution of El Salvador founded in the year 2000, which is aimed at road conservation, preserving the good condition of inland roads, keeping 3971.46km of paved roads and 2412.48km of unpaved roads. One of the projects developed in 2016 is the logistic corridor Puerto de Acajutla-Sonsonate, which benefits over 111 thousand inhabitants of the zone. During 2017, Fovial develops expansion works in a stretch of the highway to Puerto de la Libertad and modernization works of the Roosvelt Avenue, in the city of San Miguel.
