Description:
Mexico's national infrastructure trust fund, Fonadin, is a government agency responsible for coordinating the financing and development of communications, transport, water, environment and tourism infrastructure. The fund supports the planning, design, construction and transfer of infrastructure projects developed by the private sector that combine social impact and economic gain. The national bank for public works and services BANOBRAS is responsible for the Fonadin's operation and has been appointed as its trustee. Fonadin was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Cuidad de Mexico.
