The company designs and manufactures ground segment equipment and provides end-to-end telecom services based on VSAT satellite network technology. Gilat specializes in fixed and mobile widebeam and HTS (HighThroughput Satellite) communications for commercial and government entities. The company's portfolio includes cloud-based satellite network platforms, amplifiers, high-speed modems, and high-performance mobile antennas. It has sold more than 1.5mn products in over 90 countries to more than 300 clients and has over 500 active networks. Gilat is headquartered in Petah Tikva, Israel, and has regional offices in 20 countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. In the two latter countries, it is a provider of connectivity, Internet, and telephony for enterprises, governmental agencies, and residential clients.
