Description:
Hidroeléctrica Nido de Águilas S.A is a Chilean company responsible for developing the 125MW Nido de Águilas run-of-river hydroelectric power plant in Cachapoal province, in central Chile's O'Higgins region (VI). The project involves the construction and operation of the plant, in addition to the 220kV Nido de Aguilas-Chacayes transmission line. The power station will supply approximately 462GWh/y to the country's central SIC power grid. The company is controlled by renewable power company Pacific Hydro's local unit. Hidroeléctrica Nido de Águilas is headquartered in Santiago.
