Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) S.A. provides financial services to individuals, SMEs, and corporations. Its products and services include savings and checking accounts, credit and debit cards, personal loans, mortgages, leasing, and safe deposit boxes. It also provides insurance policies for cars, life, property, stolen technological devices, protection in ATM operations, as well as an commercial insurance. Additionally, the bank offers certificates of deposits, investment funds, and trading of shares, securities, and notes. ICBD Argentina has a network of 104 branches across 17 Argentine provinces. It serves over one million consumers and more than 40,000 institutional clients. The bank started operations in the country in 1998 as a subsidiary of Standard Bank. In 2011, ICBD acquired a majority interest of 80% in the bank, with Standard Bank London Holding Limited holding the balance. ICBD is headquartered in Buenos Aires.
