Description:

JinkoSolar Chile S.p.A. is the local subsidiary of Chinese solar power product manufacturer JinkoSolar. Its first contract in the country was in 2013 for 1.2MW solar PV modules with independent power producer SolaireDirect Chile. Since then, the company has provided more than 600MW of solar modules for several projects in Chile's northern region, including 33.67MW for San Pedro III PV Plant Phase I project, in Antofagasta, developed by Rijn Capital; 122 MW for Pattern Energy Group LP's Conejo solar plant, located in Taltal, and solar modules and panels for the 1.7MW plant at the La Silla Observatory, which will be the world's first plant to use a combination of bifacial and smart modules with conventional modules, thereby increasing power by 5% - 10% compared to conventional plants. JinkoSolar Chile S.p.A. is headquartered in Santiago.
