Neoen S.A.S. is an independent French company which makes long-term investments, constructs, finances and operates their own sustainable power plants (solar, wind, and energy storage). The company's portfolio totaled 10.7GW at the end of 2019, including projects in operation, under construction, secured projects, and projects won during the year. Neoen aims to have 5GW of these projects in operation and in construction by 2021. Its Latin American operations include the solar plants El Llano (375MW, Mexico), Altiplano (208MW, Argentina), Paradise Park (51MW, Jamaica) and Capella (244MW, El Salvador). The latter plant also includes a 3MW lithium-ion energy storage plant by the name of Albireo Power Reserve. Neoen was founded in the year 2008 in Paris. The controlling shareholder of the company is the family-owned company Impala SAS.
