Description:
Posco E&C is an international construction company founded in 1994 and based in the city of Pohang, South Korea. The company is present in 40 countries, it has subsidiaries in 10 of them, including Mexico and Brazil, and branches in Chile and Peru. Posco E&C is made up of the engineering, building, infrastructure, engineering and energy construction and plant engineering and construction divisions. The company was the first Korean construction company to enter the Chilean market, with the construction of the Ventanas coal-fired thermal power plant (242MW), as well as the Peruvian market with the construction of the Kallpa (830MW) and Chilca Uno (810MW) combined cycle power plants.
