Premier Oil Exploration and Production Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (Premier Oil Mexico), subsidiary of the English oil company Premier Oil plc through its branch Premier Oil Mexico Holdings Limited established in 2015 with headquarters in the City of Mexico, is a hydrocarbon exploration and production firm which is aimed at identifying, evaluating and developing oil and gas projects in the country. Premier Oil Mexico owns (100%) and explores blocks 11 (391.4 km2) and 13 (391.9 km2) located in the Burgos basin in the Gulf of Mexico; and participates and explores blocks 2 (816.3 km2) and 7 (391.2 km2) also in the Burgos basin, and block 30 (527,9 km2) in the Sureste basin.
