Description:
The Undersecretary of Infrastructure and Water Policy, formerly Undersecretary Water Resources (Subsecretaría de Recursos Hídricos), is an Argentinean government entity aimed at the creation and execution of the national water policy, the proposal of a regulating framework, and the coordination of the jurisdictions of other entities of the drinking water and sanitation sector inside Argentina. Based in the city of Buenos Aires, SSRH develops the 500km water pipe project Acueducto Desarrollo Formoseño from the River Paraguatoy Ingeniero Juárez, with an estimated investment of US$1,300 million; and participates in the tender of the flood control project Sarmiento (US$12.3M) on the River Gallegos.
