Description:

STRACON, a provider of integral mining and construction services in Latin America, covers all stages of a mining project, from planning, development, construction, operation, to the closure of the mine.

In Peru, STRACON provides open-pit mining services to the Shahuindo project in Cajamarca, the La Arena project in La Libertad, the Constancia project in Cusco and recently the Las Bambas project in Apurímac and the Quellaveco project in Moquegua.

In Panama, in addition to the operation, it has also carried out electromechanical construction work in the Cobre Panama Project, in the province of Colón.

In 2015, the company received an eight-year contract for the San Ramón underground gold project, owned by the Canadian mining company Red Eagle, in Antioquia, Colombia.

In 2018, STRACON entered the Guyanese market with the contract to provide mining services to the Aurora open pit mine. That same year, Ashmore Group became the main shareholder of the company acquiring the participation of the company GyM SA

Finally, the company acquired a 60% controlling stake in Dumas Holdings Inc. ("Dumas"), a Canadian leader in general services for underground mining, focused on providing services to customers in Canada and Mexico.
