Técnicas Reunidas TEC Ltda. is the Bolivian unit of Spanish engineering and construction company Técnicas Reunidas S.A., and is engaged in construction of industrial plants and engineering services, ranging from viability or basic and conceptual engineering studies to turnkey engineering, design and construction of large, complex projects. The group, which has been present in Bolivia since 2010, carried out the expansion of the Margarita gas processing plant in Tarija, in partnership with other Bolivian companies. Other projects include the construction, engineering, equipment and material supply, and commissioning of a liquids separation plant at the hydrocarbon liquids separation complex, the Gran Chaco "Carlos Villegas" plant at Yacuiba, in Tarija department. The company also carried out the engineering, procurement and construction of the second phase of a gas treatment plant in the Margarita field. The firm is based in Santa Cruz.
