Ultracargo, a unit of Brazilian fuels and logistics conglomerate Ultrapar, is the country's main provider of bulk liquid storage. It has a storage capacity of nearly 824,000m3 to serve clients in the southeast and northeast regions of Brazil. It provides storage and shipment services for products such as fuels, vegetable oils, corrosives, chemicals, lubricants, and ethanol, through its terminals Aratu (in Bahia state), Suape (Pernambuco), Itaqui (Maranhão), Santos and Paulínia (both in São Paulo state), Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro), and Paranaguá (Paraná). The company was founded in 1937. Ultracargo has increased its market share with the acquisitions of União Terminais (2008), Puma Storage do Brasil (2009) and Terminal Marítimo do Maranhão (2012). Ultrapar is based in São Paulo.
