Description:
Valhalla is a Chilean renewable energy developer focused on solar and hydro power projects. It is currently developing the Cielos de Tarapacá PV project and the Espejo de Tarapacá hydro project, both in northern Chile's Tarapacá region (I). The 600MW photovoltaic plant, which is expected to be the largest solar PV facility in Latin America, will combine with a 300MW pumped-storage hydroelectric plant to inject power into the country's northern SING grid 24 hours a day. Valhalla was founded in 2011 and has offices in Santiago and Iquique.
