Description:
Vientos de Pastorale is a subsidiary of Sowitec Uruguay, ultimately owned by Germany-based multinational Sowitec group, which together with its parent company is planning the construction of a 58.2MW wind farm, called Pastorale Wind Park, to be located in Flores department, southeast Uruguay. Pastorale will consist of 50 wind turbines which will generate enough power to supply about 75,000 consumer units. The project also includes the construction of a controller substation, at 60kV or 150kV, to connect the wind park to Uruguay's national grid.
