Puerto Rico tenders water infrastructure improvements

Puerto Rico's water authority AAAis seeking bidders for a series of water infrastructure improvement tenders worth US$16.3mn.

The largest tender relates to a US$7.79mn improvement to the Ponce Nueva water filtration plant, according to a tender notice published on the AAA website.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 11 and bids must be submitted by July 17.

At US$7.34mn, the second largest tender relates to improvements to the Arroyo pump station that serves the towns of Guayama, Arroyo, Patillas and Salinas.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 13 and bids must be submitted by July 17.

The AAA is also seeking bidders for soil stabilization works at the Lares Espino water treatment plant, which is expected to cost US$478,000.

A meeting will be held on June 20 and bids must be submitted by July 31.

The final tender relates to US$676,302 worth of improvements to the Ponderosa water tank and Catalinas distribution tank in Caguas municipality.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 18 and bids must be submitted by July 31.
