Nicaragua’s state water utility Enacal launched bidding to build a solar photovoltaic plant with installed nominal capacity of 15MW.
The project falls under a program to improve and expand potable water and sanitation systems financed by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration. Procurement information is available here.

El Salvador’s state power utility CEL issued a call to supply and install wind measurement stations in Metapán, El Coco, San Isidro and El Piche. Procurement information is available here.

Panama’s public services regulator Asep will hold a public hearing on August 26 to present a proposal to modify the transmission regulation which establishes the tariff procedure for the fourth main transmission line project.
The watchdog also reported it recently met with Colombia’s energy and gas regulator CREG to review and define a roadmap of future activities for the countries’ planned interconnection. Further details were not disclosed.

Costa Rica’s state power company ICE began a pilot plan for a 3.5MWh battery energy storage project in Colorado de Abangares, Guanacaste province. ICE is carrying out the work with Chinese firms Sumec and Clou, and advisory support from subsidiary CNFL.
