BHP reported that it recently signed a farm-out agreement with a Shell subsidiary to assign a 40% equity in Barbados exploration licenses for offshore blocks Bimshire and Carlisle Bay.

“The agreement is subject to customary regulatory approvals and third-party consents. Completion of the deal is expected by the end of the June 2022 quarter,” Melbourne-based BHP said in an update.
