Guatemala's wholesale power market administrator AMM released a preliminary programming outlook for May 2022 through April 2023.
“There is sufficient installed capacity to meet the demand of the national grid, considering the guarantee of fuel supply, as reported by the producer participants through the reports issued by the certifying companies of processes regarding necessary facilities and availability of fuel supply,” reads the 494-page document, available here, in Spanish.

El Salvadoran lawmakers authorized an increase in this year’s budget for state water utility ANDA to partially pay accumulated debts it has with power distributors.
ANDA will receive a US$16mn boost to help cover around US$39mn it owes the electricity suppliers, the legislative assembly reported.
