Mexican Google partner Nubosoft plans LatAm expansion
Mexican cloud company Nubosoft plans to expand and become the “Google cloud partner with the highest revenue in Latin America” within three years, according to co-founder Rodrigo Giles.
The company is currently among the three Google partners with the highest revenues in the region.
“There is a number I love to talk about and that is the per capita [per employee] revenue of this company, which is US$1mn. Our goal for 2027 is for it to be US$2mn,” Giles told BNamericas.
“This means doubling not only our income but also our efficiency in three years,” he added.
The company has offices in Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Querétaro and has also opened offices in Bogotá and Madrid from where it serves nearly 5,000 business clients.
About 18 months ago the company expanded to Colombia. “We chose Bogotá because it is the gateway to South America, from there we can eventually expand,” said the executive.
In addition, Colombia has the highest per capita spending on technology in the region, at approximately 5%, even higher than Brazil and Mexico, Giles said.
Although the firm is currently focused on consolidating its Colombian operation, which could take up to four years, the plans are to continue expanding in the region.
The next step is to go to Brazil. “We will certainly not go to Brazil alone, but through some strategic alliance,” Giles said. “This is where we would be focused in the next three years,” he said.
Nubosoft is also looking at growth through acquisitions. “We are currently closing negotiations to buy other partners because their business models were not sustainable over time and we are considering buying their portfolios,” Giles said. “It is not something we are actively looking for, but when [opportunities] come our way, we consider them.”
Almost a year ago Nubosoft incorporated AWS into its services portfolio.
The company is one of three Google Premier Partners and the first in Mexico to achieve this certification.
Currently, 95% of sales correspond to Google cloud solutions, including Google Workspace, virtual servers, storage, analytics and artificial intelligence.
Around 70% of its clients are SMEs.
