Rehabilitation of Xochimilco water supply system 

Mexico City water utility Sacmex is tendering the first stage of works to rehabilitate the water supply system in the Xochimilco district of the city. 

The process, identified with the code SACMEX-DGAP-LP018-2022 in the city government's public procurement system, involves a tour of the facilities on June 13 and a clarification meeting on June 17. 

Presentation of bids is scheduled for June 23, but no date has been set for the award of the contract.

Rehabilitation of public spaces in Iztacalco

Authorities in Iztacalco district published three tenders for modernization of public spaces, as well as maintenance, preservation and rehabilitation of public buildings. The tenders have the numbers 30001123-05-22, 30001123-06-22 and 30001123-07-22.

The documents state that tours of the facilities will be carried out on June 15 and a clarification meeting on June 21. The deadline to present proposals is June 29 and award of the contracts will be announced on July 6.  

Rehabilitation of public spaces in Magdalena Contreras

Some 15 tenders were published by Magdalena Contreras authorities on June 10 to rehabilitate roads, schools, a sports complex, sewerage systems, public markets and cemeteries, and the water supply network. 

Tours of the facilities will take place from June 20-23, and clarifications meetings are scheduled for June 25-29. The deadlines to present proposals are from June 30 to July 5. The full details of the contracts can be seen here.

Upgrade of markets

Three tenders were published by the government of Benito Juárez district with the ID numbers 30001118-004-2022, 30001118-005-2022 and 30001118-006-2022. They include the upgrade of the Lázaro Cárdenas, Mixcoac and Zona Postal 0111 markets. 

Tours of the markets will be carried out on June 17 and the clarification meeting is scheduled for June 23. The deadline to present proposals is June 29 and the decision will be announced on July 5. 

Maintenance of sports complexes

Authorities in Benito Juárez district also published tender 30001017-002-2022 for the maintenance of five sports complexes: Complejo Olímpico México 68, Deportivo Benito Juárez, Deportivo Vicente Saldívar, Deportivo Gumersindo Romero and Deportivo Tirzo Hernández. 

According to the official gazette, the clarification meeting is expected to take place on June 14 and the award of the contract will be announced two days later.
