3 firms bid for Mexico City cable car line cost-benefit analysis

Mexico City’s public works ministry (Sobse) has received three bids for the cost-benefit analysis of a third Cablebús line.

Records on procurement site Compranet show that the lowest bid came from BH&A Proyectos, Consultoría y Supervisión de Infraestructura, offering 3.2mn pesos (US$157,000), while Construcciones y Desarrollo de Hidalgo and Scala Supervisión, Consultoría, Asesoría y Laboratorio offered 3.7mn pesos and 4mn pesos, respectively.

Evaluación y Estructuración de Proyectos e Infraestructura was invited but did not make an offer.

The ministry will announce the winner this week.

Cablebús line No. 3 will serve the city’s central area and connect the four sections of the Bosque de Chapultepec area.

According to the tender, launched on December 23, the route will run between Constituyentes metro station and Cri-Cri park in Miguel Hidalgo district. It will also connect to the other Cri-Cri complex at section four of Bosque de Chapultepec park in Álvaro Obregón district.
