US automobile software company Via Information Tools will invest US$150,000 in Costa Rica to start producing automobile quality control and security software, local daily Prensa Libre reported. According to Via Information Tools' Costa Rica general manager Alex Montero, this is only the first step in expansion in Costa Rica, which will include a call center for technical support.
