Bisel sale delayed

Argentine Banco Nacion has delayed the opening of the auction process for local bank Nuevo Banco Bisel until September 30, Nacion said in a statement. The original date of September 17 for the analysis of the technical offers for Bisel has been postponed until the end of the month at the request of the interested parties in an effort to facilitate the auction process, the statement said. The review of the economic offers is set to start October 20. As the principal administrative body, Banco Nacion is currently conducting the privatization of three local banks: Suquia, Bersa as well as Nuevo Banco Bisel. Nacion took over Suquia, Bersa and Bisel, when their French owner Credit Agricole exited crisis-ridden Argentina last year.
