CST wants US$250mn from BNDES for expansion

Brazilian flat steelmaker CST on Monday presented details of its expansion plans to the country's development bank, known as BNDES, business daily Valor Economico reported Tuesday. Under the project, CST will spend about US$600mn to boost its annual output capacity from 5Mt to 7.5Mt by 2006. CST is expecting BNDES to finance up to US$250mn of the project. by Sergio Caldas
