Cabei signs US$67mn loan for 251MW thermo project

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (Cabei) signed Wednesday a US$67mn loan for Honduran generator Lufussa to build the 251MW La Pavana III thermoelectric project, Cabei said in a statement. Total investment in the project will be US$180mn, for which Lufussa is also seeking US$20mn in loans from banks. Investors will provide the remaining amount, the statement said.
