Bnamericas
Chilean telecoms systems integrator Coasin has signed a regional agreement to distribute and integrate telecoms network management software of US IT firm Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) (HP), according to a statement from the companies. The agreement applies specifically to HP's operations support system (OSS) software OpenView. The agreement will let Coasin complement network integration services for its telecoms customers with a management software solution, HP Chile chief executive Edgar Witt said in the statement. The market for OSS solutions in Latin America totals US$2.3bn, according to research from US consultancy Gartner, he said. Coasin has operations in Chile, Argentina and Central America.
