Bnamericas
Four offers were submitted Thursday to draft a master plan for the port of Comodoro Rivadavia in southern Argentina's Chubut province, provincial port under-secretary Juan Granada told BNamericas. The offers were submitted by Spanish consortium Euroestudios-Ingenieros de Consulta, Abarlados, Alatec and Intecsa, said Granada, adding they expect a winner in about two months. The commerce and tourism department of Spain's economy ministry is providing 300,000 euros (US$342,000) for the 10-month study, which entails drafting the master plan and a works plan for the next 30 years, said Granada. Comodoro Rivadavia has a 10m draught and moved some 64,000t last year, mainly fish and fuels according to the port's website.
