Fitch withdraws HSBC unit's ratings

Fitch Ratings has withdrawn the ratings on HSBC Mexico because of the expiration of its rating services contract with the bank, Fitch said in a statement. The national scale ratings withdrawn are: long-term counterparty risk, AAA; short-term counterparty risk F1+; long-term CDs and PRLVs, AAA; and short-term CDs and PRLVs, F1+. At the same time Fitch has withdrawn the bank's only current international ratings: individual, D; and support, 2.
