Bnamericas
The staff of Spanish IT consultancy DMR Consulting have acquired a controlling stake in their company from Japan's Fujitsu Group, after two years of negotiations, DMR said in a statement. DMR's 2,800 professionals now have a 54.7% stake, venture capital firm Apax Partners has 38.3% and Spanish financial services group Financial Managers has 7%. The company now aims to consolidate operations and go public within five years, Chile country manager Juan Francisco Yáñez said. DMR specializes in the implementation, integration and maintenance of commercial business tools. The company has offices in Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico as well as several European countries, and Yañez said recently that Latin America could eventually account for 50% of global revenues.
