Argentina's government has loaned a further 300mn pesos (US$101mn) to the country's grid operator Cammesa to cover the difference between what distributors are collecting from subsidized power bills and what they have to pay generators for power purchases, newspaper Ambito Financiero reported. According to figures from a previous BNamericas report, the government has now loaned Cammesa 1bn pesos, which will start being repaid from 2007.
