IDB invites letters of interest for road project study

IDB is requesting expressions of interest to carry out a feasibility study on Guyana's Georgetown-Lethem road link, the financial entity reported in a release. Under a technical cooperation agreement, the government of Guyana is receiving financing from IDB to carry out the studies to improve connectivity from the country's north to south. Objectives also include improving regional integration and accessibility to facilitate trade and cultural exchange. A prefeasibility study has already been carried out. IDB member countries must submit expressions of interest by February 7. The study is scheduled to take a maximum of 36 weeks.
