Lumina posts US$578k H1 loss

Vancouver-based junior Lumina Copper (TSX-V: LUM) reported net losses of Cdn$506,636 (currently US$385,000) in the second quarter and Cdn$760,084 (US$578,000) in the first half of 2004. The company, with exploration projects in Chile and Peru, had cash and cash equivalents of Cdn$7.82mn (US$5.94mn) and working capital of Cdn$7.06mn (US$5.37mn) as of June 30, 2004, the company said in a statement. Total assets were Cdn$18.2mn (US$13.8mn) and the company has no long term debt.
